We at Navratan Jewellers are the 3rd generation of a family involved in the Jewellery Industry since 1950’s. Our business started as as wholesale manufacturer of Silver Jewellery under the name of Chetmani Abhushan Bhandar.

We took our first big step in the retail jewellery space in 1992 with the inauguration of Navratan Jewellers Lahurabir Branch. The store was under the management of Shri Bal Mukund Das Agrawal and Shri Satish Agrawal. We at Navratan have always prided ourselves on being the trans-formative force on the Varanasi Retail Jewellery Market. We have had a lot of firsts in our incredible history. We were the first retail outlet in Varanasi that started dealing in 22/22 KDM Jewellery. We also were the first outlet in Varanasi to obtain hallmarking license in 2003.

Due to the great response that we received from our first store, we opened up another branch at Maldahiya, Varanasi where we started dealing in Diamond Jewellery. This great response from the public emboldened us to organize annual exhibitions at our Maldiyah Outlet, which again was one of the firsts in the history of Varanasi Retail Jewellery Industry.

In 2011, we shifted our Maldahiya Showroom to Bhelupur, and we are present here till date. What initially started out as a Retail Store has now in turn become a full fledged family business with 3rd generations of Jewellers being trained here. Apart from the two aforementioned names, others like Shri Sanjay Agrwal, Shri Sandeep Agrawal and Shri Sunil Agrawal have joined the business in their teens and have help nurture the business from its grass roots to where it stands today.

In 2020, with the motive of serving our loyal customers in better way the Agrawal family expanded the business by joining hands of Varanasi’s renowned “Taksali Family”who are involved in Real Estate business (Rudra Navnirman Private Limited, Allahabad) and Manufacturing Industry (SGN Agrotech LLP, Varanasi) under the leadership and great work experience of more than 45 years of Sri Balram Das Taksali. His sons, Shri Sanjeeva Taksali, Rajeev Taksali and Navneet Taksali are involved in the family business and are doing well in their respective fields. Now, both families decided to work as a team to promote the Jewellery Business (Navratan Jewellers) by collaborating their own resources to reach new heights.
